Course Start Dates & Delivery
Our courses are designed for optimal flexibility, allowing you to enrol and start at any point throughout the year. As we specialise in online learning, our courses are delivered exclusively through our user-friendly student portal and learning management system.
Completing Your Course
From the date you commence your course, you have 12 months to complete the course. Our Certificate III in Legal Services course is competency-based, meaning you can work through the material at your own pace. You can complete the course before 12 months; however, completing it early does not exempt you from the full payment schedule.
Course Requirements
While there are no prerequisites required to undertake this qualification, you must have dedicated internet access and the Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) to complete your studies. We prefer that assessments are not produced using Google or other alternative software products.
The 10 Units of Competency
To complete and obtain the Certificate III in Legal Services qualification, a student is required to complete these 10 units of competency:
- BSBLEG311: Work in a legal services environment
- BSBLEG314: Protect information in a legal services environment
- BSBTEC201: Use business software applications
- BSBXCM301: Engage in workplace communication
- BSBLEG313: Lodge documents in a legal services environment
- BSBLEG315: Assist in planning activities in a legal services environment
- BSBLEG421: Apply understanding of the Australian legal system
- BSBLEG423: Conduct simple legal research
- BSBWHS211: Contribute to the health and safety of self and others
- BSBWRT311: Write simple documents
Course Fees & Payments
The total cost to complete this course is $3,540.00; however, we charge $295.00 per month. Upon enrolment, $295.00 is required to access course content and be able to start your studies. 11 subsequent payments are payable in months 2-12 of your course via direct debit/credit.

Government Funding
Government funding is available for those eligible through accessing the Certificate 3 Guarantee program. This course is also approved for Centrelink student payments. If you are a Centrelink recipient, you will need to contact them directly regarding this.
Pricing is as follows for those eligible for the Certificate 3 Guarantee:
- Non-concessional students: $1,650.00 / $165.00 per unit. This is payable over 6 months at $275.00 per month.
- Concessional students: $975.00 / $97.50 per unit. This is payable over 3 months at $325.00 per month.
The first month’s co-contribution payment is required upon enrolment, followed by subsequent monthly payments.
While no Government funding is available for this course, it is approved for Centrelink student payments. If you are a Centrelink recipient, you will need to contact them directly regarding this.
Traineeships
Course fees are invoiced to and payable by your employer.
- The total cost of this course when User Choice funding is available is $1,395.00, payable upon enrolment. This fee includes the State Government mandated student co-contribution fee of $1.60 per nominal hour, plus training/admin fees.
- The total cost when undertaken as a Fee for Service arrangement, where no funding is available, is $3,540.00, payable upon enrolment.
